Ya Mar: Unfinished. I ADORE how they reboot to the original theme at 8:50 and a beat or two slower than normal. Then they go into that minor chord jam, it’s just so nasty! It’s so good it feels like they practiced or at least talked about it before they went on stage. It’s moments like these that made this tour so special and memorable. Things get gradually more intense from here. They back off at 13:50, Trey hits up some loops and they take this into the pornofunk side of town. Super icky, sticky funk. Easy all timer and highly recommended. The segue into Axilla seems slightly forced. >

Axilla: Standard. Contained Axilla II ending. >

Theme From the Bottom: Standard.

Vultures: Very cool jam. Ethereal and then abstract and ambient. Big fan would recommend.

Tube: Absolute funk dance party USA would recommend!

Good Times Bad Times: Unbelievable energy. Folks losing it for Page’s vocals. I know what it means to be alooooone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SET 2: NICU: Fun. >

Punch You in the Eye: Place is going bonkers over this and rightfully so. Just like Rochester. Monster effects and general fuckery after the song proper ends setting up a segue into Ghost… >

Ghost: Yeah baby, woo hoo!!!!!!!! This one is a straight up rager for 14 minutes, then devolves into loops/space and then into Mike’s… >

Mike's Song: Mike’s Song included Foxy Lady quotes from Fish and some memorable vocal interplay from the band that included a chant to “Bring in the Dude.” Funkytown by Lipps Inc. Foxy Lady by Jimi Hendrix at 10:56. They start this at breakneck speed! Cactus will bring the Dude. Bring the Dude Michael. Ahhhh, feel the Dude! I gotta do it again Fish, I gotta bring in the Dude! OF LIFE. Page? Page? Bring the Dude!!! Absolute mayhem. Assume this was sponsored by Patron and our friends from Columbia. ->

Llama: Smokes. I like the mellow middle part that they inject into this one.

When the Circus Comes: Well earned breather.

Weekapaug Groove -> Catapult -> Weekapaug Groove: I love the little reset/reboot thing they do at the 4 minute mark and then explode out of that right back into the rocking and funking. I also like how they take the last minute and a half and boil it down from a typical hard rocking version down to just about nothing and sort of hypnotize you and before you know it we are in Catapult. Once they get back into Weekapaug, I like the Can’t You Hear Me Knocking stuff. Would recommend this version!

Harry Hood: Wow, another heavy hitter. They just don’t want to get off the stage, do they? This show is going long for sure. During Hood, Trey asked Chris Kuroda to turn off the lights for a Blackout Jam and the audience responded with a shower of green glowsticks. This really set the tone for what turned out as a great version. Things are very mellow as everyone was likely playing with and throwing glowsticks and watching all of that unfold. Very ambient. By 12:15 Fishman is doing what he can to ramp things back up and he is actually (I think) trying to take this into My Soul (Fish would have to wait to play this in the encore slot). Lots and lots of building towards the eventual backed into peak. You can tell they just straight up didn’t want to get off the stage which is echoed by Trey after the song is over – when he says it’s been a great tour, and we wish we could keep going but I guess we will see you in a couple weeks. Great version right here, would recommend!

The Squirming Coil: Beautiful way to cap an epic tour! Beautiful solo from Page.

Summary: Second longest show of the tour (11.29). Great show and tour closer. So many highlights. I would say the one all timer to come out of this show is Ya Mar, that was absolutely epic! Good first set and a great second set!
